Merck: Employee Engagement
Merck needed to improve production quality in its manufacturing group. Employee engagement in this process was a primary key to success. The final campaign fostered a sense of shared mission and illustrated who the employee was ultimately working for — the patient.
The campaign focused on three key concepts: Point Up… share your ideas with management on how to improve production. Point Out… recognize your peers for a job well done. And The Point Is… remind the employee why their work is so important to the patients who need Merck drugs.
